Deep Breathing & Exercise

Breathing is the bridge between body and soul.  Oxygen is the elixir of life.  Germs and disease cannot live in an oxygenated environment so it is important to fill our cells with oxygen.  Our lungs are shaped in that there is a much greater surface area at the bottom of them, so we need to get air right to the bottom of the lungs to get more oxygen out to the cells via the blood.

Power breathing is a great way to oxygenate our bodies, we breathe in through our nose to a count of 4, hold our breath for 20 counts and breathe out through our nose for 10.  Repeat it 3 times.  Repeat the exercise several times a day.

Exercise is very important to keep our muscles strong and toned, to strengthen the heart and lungs, to increase the oxygen to our cells, to help keep our bones from getting brittle and to burn fat.

The summer is a great time to go fast walking in the sunshine and in our lovely countryside, a fantastic way to exercise, however, do you know How Many Exercises Per Workout you should do?

According to experts, the ideal number of exercising is five days a week. Being moderately active boosts your general well-being and fitness status.

While 5 days per week may sound intimidating for a lot of people, just remember that you can be active for as little as 30 minutes, and it would still be considered a great workout.

As a general advice, you should not start with this number of workouts per week when you are a beginner. Having a personal Macro Coach to assist you can also be helpful for your fitness journey.  After all, you need to take your fitness level, experience, and available time into consideration.
