How does it work?
Your initial consultation will enable the podiatrist to assess your problem and detail a treatment plan. In addition to standard assessment and gait analysis we may include exercises, mobilisation techniques and footwear advice and customised orthoses. The podiatrist will decide if it is necessary to take a cast of your feet in plaster of paris which will allow the laboratory to accurately manufacture your customised orthoses.
Biomechanical assessment is also appropriate for children especially as many foot and walking problems are hereditary.
