What is it?

It is based on the scientific belief that evolution has equipped an originally healthy human body sufficient to be able to overcome practically all illness that it is normally exposed to. To maintain this ideal it is necessary to supply the individual cells in the body with the material support they require. Research in medical colleges world-wide support this theory.

Nutritional therapy first came to people’s attention about 10 years ago, but very few understand how important it is to life in today’s polluted environment.

For example mature onset diabetes is caused in at least 95% of cases by a lack of Chromium in the diet and is now at epidemic proportions in this country. Although the body’s requirement of Chromium is small (it is a micro-mineral), without it the ability to manufacture insulin is lost, eventually forever.

Sufficient Chromium used to be available in the vegetables we eat but now these are lacking in all essential minerals, because the soil we farm is becoming more and more exhausted. In fact most members of society are suffering from endemic degenarative disease because of the low nutrition value in food; and are actually ageing twice as fast as is necessary.

How does it work?

Our Nutritional Therapist will analyse the problems you are exposed to in your life, as well as the information peculiar to your own DNA. From this he will introduce a nutritional programme to undo any health problems that you are suffering from and enable your body to retain its youth to the maximum amount, currently known to medical science.

Nutritional Consultations

Everyone needs a healthy diet. Your body needs the right components to grow, maintain all its bodily functions and fight illness and disease. Many conditions can be caused by nutritional deficiencies or intolerances to certain foods e.g. arthritis, asthma, eczema, migraine, etc.

The main elements of a healthy diet are sufficient quantities of food providing the right balance of protein, carbohydrate, fat, fibre, vitamins and minerals with plenty of water.

The nutritional consultation involves an in-depth discussion covering medical history, family history, lifestyle, occupation, dietary habits, shopping, cooking, cravings, symptoms etc. At the end of the session, the client takes away a 7 day food/drink diary to complete. The next consultation will use the food/drink diary information to compile a full dietary analysis comparing nutritional intake against recommended guidelines. Recommendations will then follow. These may include some dietary changes, supplementation, exclusion and reintroduction of foods.

Initial 75 minute consultation – £115
Subsequent consultation per 40 minutes – £ 70
Per 60 minutes pro rata – £100
Telephone Consultation – 15 minutes – £ 25
