What is it?

Ear Candling is an ancient form of treatment more commonly associated with the natives of North America. However it has been used in many other cultures over thousands of years.

Also known as Thermo Auricular Therapy, Hopi Ear Candling is an excellent and non-invasive treatment suitable for problems and conditions related to the ear, nose and throat areas.

How does it work?

The Candles are cylindrical with hollow centres and are made of natural substances such as honey, beeswax and medicinal herbs.  The candle creates a mild suction which lets the vapours gently massage the eardrum and auditory canal and forms a seal which enables wax and other impurities to be drawn out of the ear. You will experience a pleasant crackling sound and a warm comfortable feeling as the candle burns. The therapist will end the treatment with a soothing facial massage to improve circulation and energy flow to the area.
