Nikki Mills

Nikki’s personal life experiences took her to counselling and as a result she decided to retrain as a Therapist/Counsellor. She has experience of supporting people with many different issues, with a special interest of Generalised Anxiety Disorder (GAD), low self-esteem and post-natal depression.

Nikki has a Level 4 Diploma in Counselling and attends Continuing Professional Development courses and workshops throughout the year.

She is a full member of the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapy. (BACP), and adheres to the BACP Code of Ethics and her work is regularly supervised.

Nikki is a Humanistic therapist which means she uses a variety of skills and techniques to help you, principally concentrating on the here and now, rather than historic problems. She believes we are all unique and individual, so adjusts her skills to suit your needs best.

Nikki can offer short or long-term therapy, her work is explorative, rather than advice given or solution based. She doesn’t have a set agenda for each session, but instead focuses on whatever you choose to bring to the session.

Nikki works in Baldock on Fridays.
